Kane celebrates his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his desire in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is currently midway through the four-year agreement he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.
The experienced forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the initial significant honor of his distinguished career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has earlier mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he previously was, and would seriously consider lengthening his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after ending his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
